I was told that the RPM would barely clear but the AIR Gap would not but then the edelbrock web sit states that neither will fit under the stock 66 hood.

WebNov 24, 2006 · I thought these were supposed to be as-cast to closely match a FelPro 1205 Intake gasket (SBC application). After checking my gaskets vs AFR heads, and the gaskets vs the Eddy Air Gap, it looks like the Air Gap needs up to .12 removed from the port walls to match. Any similar experiences?? One of the holes on my Edelbrock RPM Air-gap intake didnt quite line up either when I installed it on my AFR heads. The hole was too close to the aluminum casting of the intake. It was the very front bolt on the drivers side.
