WebApr 15, 2024 · The walks normally vary between 5 and 12 miles. We tend to walk at a moderate pace but the terrain varies enormously and can include some quite challenging hills or rough surfaces. Walks tend to be a bit shorter in the winter, as the days get shorter and the weather less reliable. WebOur walking area is from the Yorkshire Dales through to the North York Moors including the coast. Because our main walking is Thursday, most of our walkers are either retired or in part time employment. We also walk on a Tuesday during the summer months with a series of shorter 5 to 6 mile pub walks that culminate in a pub meal.
