WebOct 31, 2024 · My 5600x is getting up to about 80 degrees C when running the cinebench r23 benchmark, even though I have upgraded to a cooler than should have been more than enough to handle its power output. I know cinebench is a stressful benchmark that is going to push my CPU, but ~80 still seems high given the power draw of the chip. WebOnce the power button has been hit, the computer enters a power-on self test, commonly called POST, where it does a quick RAM check to make sure all RAM is accessible, and if it isn't, the PC will not boot and speak out a beep code to say "hey something's wrong."
